Other news: we've lowered the price on our always popular solar mole chaser/pest control device (including prices when bought in sets), and many other products. We have new accent lights, solar water pumps, solar water fountains, and many items that were seasonally out of stock are back. Note: popular products sell out quickly this time of year, often faster than warehouses can update the number still in stock. Also, processing of all orders between now and early July may take a few days longer than usual: for gardening products, it's the equivalent to the Christmas Holiday season!

- Weekly Tip: Make sure that you periodically clean your solar panel and solar fixtures "panes" to make sure they are free of pollen, dust, leaves, bird droppings, etc. A quick spray with a hose or gentle wipe with a wet soft cotten rag can do wonders.  FedEx Releases Stricter Requirements for Proof of Goods Damaged in Transit:
The major shippers are requiring more and more to process claims of damage during shipping. While damage during shipment occurs VERY rarely (we've only had this happen once in past 10 months), we strongly recommend somebody be at home when the product is delivered is so that you can check the product's packaging.
If you're not around and notice a damaged package when you get home, please contact us immediately by calling (866) 686-6903 or emailing info@SolarFlairLighting.com. If you discover damage after the package is opened, our shippers require that ALL packaging (inlcuding paper, bubble wrap, styrofoam, etc.), as well as paperwork, billing labels and anything that was in or on the package be saved until the damage claim is closed.
We always work with customers to help support the claim, but (see our Store Policies) we ultimately cannot be responsible for damage during shipment as buyers are the ones with the physical evidence. Also, please report the damage as quickly as possible, because if more than a few days have passed, shippers can use that alone as a reason to deny your claim. Regardless of the shipper's response, we will work with you to try to get a replacement part or a new product at minimal, if any, cost to you as soon as possible.
If the package is damaged in any way or show signs of water damage, either refuse delivery on these grounds, or ask that the delivery person make note of the apparent damage before you open the package.

Once the product goes into the UPS of FedEx delivery system, we set up email alerts so that you are notified of any changes that could delay your package. (We recommend that whenever possible, that the buyer or a neighbor/relative be around the day of delivery to make sure that it is safe.)

Product Spotlight: Environmental and Renewable Energy Kits, Experiments, Games and Toys
 School will be out soon, but that doesn't mean learning needs to stop. Along with camps, homeschoolers, day care centers, other places that have used our environmental education toys include after- and before-school programs.
