Engineered and assembled in the United States of America, the Niles Solar Lamp Post Mount can be used with a new standard 3-inch lamp post (not included) or to retrofit an existing gas or electric lamp post.

All Niles Solar Lamps are great for: gates/fences; gardens/landscapes; parks and recreational facilities; bike paths, walkways and hiking trails; private residential, institutional or business roads; docks and marinas; schools and campuses; animal sanctuaries; and pools and beaches.

As with all fixtures in the Niles Series, the Solar Lamp Post Mount is built for longevity. This durable solar lamp is constructed of high-grade die-cast aluminum with black powder finish for corrosion-resistance. It also withstands severe weather, and is resilient to vandalism. Instead of glass, the fixtures uses UV-protect polycarbonate covers that most withstand wind-strewn debris as well as intentionally thrown objects. The powder-coated finish is difficult to scratch, unlike painted lamps or lamp posts.

The solar lamp is set at the US factory for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation, or to automatically turn on at dawn and stay lit for 10 hours. (For additional customization, please call us.) The lamp's diffuser is a 5-inch diameter contoured clear dome.

All components are integrated into a single compartment, with no external panels or battery boxes, and all wiring is hidden within the fixture. A high performance 5 Watt mono-crystalline solar panel with photovoltaic modules can generate back-up power for cloudy days.
