With 16-feet of cord between the solar panel and the light itself, you have flexibility to place the solar spotlight where you need it (including shaded or covered areas) and place the solar panel in full sun up to 16 feet away.

It has adjustable settings to motion and allows you to determine the length of time it will stay on each time it senses motion (20 seconds to one minute) and the light will stay on as long as there is motion within the designated area, such as gathering ones keys and opening a door).
