Our SMD Solar Flood Light with 108 Advanced SMD LEDS and Remote Control uses state-of-the art Surface Mounted Diodes, a type of LEDS that are 17 percent brighter than traditional LEDs.
The fixture automatically turns on at dusk at full strength.
When the smart controller senses that the battery is running low on stored solar power, the brightness dims by about 30 to 50 percent to save power and extend the duration of light.
At full brightness, the floodlight provides 632 lumens (about the same as a 150 watt incandescent bulb) over a 30 by 30 foot area.
This 2-piece flood light provides strong lighting areas and is ideal for commercial and high-demand security lighting or flood light applications such as: parking areas and driveways, loading docks and outdoor service areas, signage, marinas and other recreational areas.Â
This unit can be mounted on the ground, ideal to light signage, but it also can be mounted to a horizontal or vertical wall or structure using the holes in the base of the light.
The solar panel should be used on the ground or with the optional solar panel mount for poles.
The SMD Solar Flood Light automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn with a master On/Off switch and a Remote Control that turns the light off and on from a distance of up to 45 feet away from the lighting fixture.
Convenient: you bet! The remote control lets the light be turned on or off without the need for anyone to go to or from the light in the dark.
Depending on the geographic location of the installation site (the upper 1/3 of the US should expect 20 percent less efficiency than other areas), this light provides 10 to 12 hours of light on a fully charged battery (4 to 6 hours of sun with solar panel installed at a 30-45 degree angle facing the strongest sun of the day).
