While these aren't truly solar lights, these lovely gazing balls have tiny luminescent crystals embedded inside each hand-blown glass globe.
Beautiful day and night, the globe absorbs light energy from any light source and emit a soothing green glow for four hours after dusk!
While these Illuminarie gazing globes can be displayed and viewed in virtually any indoor or outdoor setting, we recommend placing them in a garden, on a patio or deck, or along side a water feature -- anywhere that gets sunshine for six to eight hours a day for the best show at night.
As long as the gazing ball does not receive light from other sources at night (which the ball will read as daytime light), these will put on a lovely show for up to four hours.
The best viewing will occur shortly after sun down. Want the show to occur at a different time: place the lights in an area with another light source and the solar energy won't turn on the glowing crystals until it's in a dark area.
