When we started SolarFlairLighting.com in 2010, it was often hard to find a variety of quality outdoor solar lights at one store.
Today, customers have are far more choices about what type of solar lights to buy and where to buy them. Unfortunately, far too many stores sell far too many lousy solar lights.Â
That's not what SolarFlairLighting.com is about: our goal is to sell quality and high-end solar lights and garden products to customers. Shoddy solar lights are bad for customers, bad for the solar lighting and renewable industries, and bad for our business.
So are stores that don't understand the products they sell or care about customer service. As a small business, each and ever customer is important to us.Â

Our Approach: Quality Products and Quality Service
Sure, we're concerned about the environment and energy costs. But with backgrounds in design, engineering and construction (including parks, highways, roadways and facility site design), we know that quality lighting is key functional and attractive outdoor spaces.
We're fans of solar lighting because it makes it's often makes sense. Outdoor solar lights are flexible and convenient especially when access to electricity is inconvenient or expensive. For easy, non-disruptive, energy-efficient and reliable lighting, solar lighting is today's smart choice.
Solar Flair Lighting continues to expands and diversify our inventory, but our attitude towards what we sell and how hasn't. Our goals are simple:
- Sell Quality Products
Unfortunately, there are far too many outdoor solar lights on the market that are poorly made. We call them disposable solar lights. We've offered "discount" solar lights in the past, but find that lights that last a few weeks (if you're lucky) aren't good for customers or our business.
All of our manufacturers and product lines are carefully screened for quality, that warranties are honored, and that their approach to customer service is in line with ours. Outdoor solar lights and solar landscape products are not created are equal. Â Â
Why: We want our solar lights to be among the very best on the market without moving into custom solar lights. And if you do need custom solar lighting, we can provide custom solar lamps, pole lights and more including a new line of hybrid solar/electric lights.

Providing Quality Customer Service
Our customer service begins when you visit our site and continues throughout the products' warranty and often beyond. Our new Help Center may answer many questions, but we know that some things require a personal touch.

Remember: we can provide many products at discounted prices especially if you buy several items, are evaluating items you may wish to buy in bulk at a later date, or are buying several different products.
Over 25% of all of SolarFlairLighting.com's business comes from repeat customers. Even customers who have bought items with manufacturer defects or damages during shipment come back. We think this speaks volumes customer service are really tested not when everything goes perfectly, but when something goes wrong.

Free Shipping to 48 Contiguous United States
We provide free shipping on all products delivered within the continental US, except for special orders that must be delivered by freight such as our solar street lights.
At SolarFlairLighting.com, the price you see on the product is the price you pay: No surprises at checkout; no surprises later on. We don't get believe in attracting customers with low-balled "shipping estimates" and then hitting them with extra fees at checkout, or even a day or two later.
Special Order Shipping: We also ship many items to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories and US Government facilities overseas as special orders. For these items, shipping costs are calculated on an individual basis and are included in the price with zero mark-up.
If you're looking to purchase solar products for delivery outside the 48 contiguous United States, please call us about what you're looking for and we'll let you know if we can get it there. Commitment to American Companies
SolarFlairLighting.com works with American manufacturers and distributors in the United States and Canada. Some products are made entirely in the USA; some are assembled in the United States of components made at home and abroad. Our "Made in the USA products" are clearly and honestly marked as such.Â
Does the Nationality of the Manufacturer Really Matter?
We think so: many overseas manufacturers play fast and loose with quality. Much of what they sell is poorly made knockoffs of popular solar lights. Cheap solar lights are perfectly fine some times (such as special events where several light is required but may not be used again). Most of the time, we think they are a waste of money.
We know many people want USA-made products, but most of our products are made overseas and there is a solid reason for this: USA-made usually means a high price tag that is unacceptable to most Americans.
In fact, one of our manufacturers, for example, made solar lights in the USA but recently left the industry because the company could no longer provide technically competitive lights at an acceptable price and make keep production in the USA.
