The 2 Watt, 36-inch Head Solar Water Pump Kit with LED Light is an easy DIY product that can be installed into practically any water feature you want.

shipping policies_It has a water flow capacity of 65 gallons per hour (GPH) and can product a maximum fountain spray head of 36 inches. The hydraulic pressure (head capacity) is between 18 and 36 inches, depending on the hose/conduit you use, discussed below.

Please use our Hydraulic Head Calculator to determine the best pump for your water feature. Questions: just call us at (866) 686-6903 or email info@SolarFlairLighting.com

Easy to operate and install, it is a great replacement for conventional electric water pumps such as those found in small waterfalls and garden water features.

A 16-foot cable between the pump and the solar panel provides flexibility, so that you can either "hide" the solar mechanics or put them in an area where they will get strong sunlight. You can also purchase an extra 16-feet of cable if your project for 32 feet between the solar panel and solar pump.

You can select from four different heights of water spray up to 3 feet tall with eight (8) different spray nozzles for different effects.

It can work by day or night for up to four hours on energy stored in the rechargeable batteries via the solar panel. By day (or when in the Off position), the pump works directly off of the solar panel, which also sends power to a rechargeble battery pack.  The battery pack, which works when the pump is turned on, can power the pump for up to 4 hours either at night or during overcast weather.

The flow capacity of the pump is 65 gallons of water per hour (GPH).  Head pressure (required to move water from one part of your water feature to another via hoses) depends on the size of hose you attach.  The pump kit includes adaptors so that you can make your own water feature, small water fall or convert an electric pump to solar.

Three size adaptors are included, which fit:

  • Hose with inside diameter of .25 inches, which will provide head of 36 inches
  • Hose with 3/8-inch inside diameter, which will provide head of 27 inches
  • Hose with .5-inch inside diameter, which produces head of 18 inches
  • Our Hydraulic Pressure Head calculator explains head pressure vs GPH capacity and also lets you enter dimension of your current or planned water feature so that you can determine which of our solar pumps is best for you.

A manual on/off switch is included for when you wish to have the pump run off of the battery; otherwise, the pump will work directly off of the solar panel.

Product includes:

  • 2  Watt Solar Water Pump
  • Dimension of pump: 2.5 inches long, 2.25 inches high, 2 inches wide
  • 10-piece fountain head with one ground spike for solar panel
  • Battery pack that with a full day of sun can provide 3 hours of back-up operation
  • Note: all solar products are designed to be used with rechargeable batteries and the best battery is the same size and type of battery that comes with your product. Use of other batteries is highly likely to cause irreparable damage to the unit and will void any warranties.
  • As with all water features, this pump should be taken in during subfreezing temperatures to prevent expanding freezing water from damaging the pump, hoses or its mechanisms.

Product Features:

  • Battery stores power from the solar panel for use at night or during overcast weather
  • LED lights that add interest to the water feature and automatically turn on at dusk; they do not work in daylight because the lights automatically turn on via a photosensor that detects darkness
  • Solar Panel
  • 6V-9V DC Brushless Pump with 16-foot  cable
  • 2 W solar module
  • Rechargeable battery pack
  • One (1) Year Manufacturer's Warranty (void if incorrect batteries are used, pump or components are damaged by freezing warranty or any wires are spliced or altererd)
