The Windsor Solar Lamp Post is a powerful reliable lighting fixture on a 6.5-foot tall lamp post.
With a classic design and distinctive hexagon shape, it features twelve (12) super-bright White 10mm LEDs intensified by a patented prism.
Six separate solar panels, one on each side of the fixture, allow solar energy to be absorbed from all sides.
It automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn (or when the energy stored in the battery is expended).
Windsor Solar Lamps can be set to low or high brightness with a manual On/Off and brightness switch) .
At high brightness, it provides 8 hours of strong light on a full solar charge (about the same as a 40-50 watt incandescent bulb). On low brightness, the light is about the same as a 25 watt incandescent bulbs), but provides up to 12-15 hours of illumination on full solar charge (about 6 hours of sun.)
The low brightness setting is useful for three primary purposes:
The Windsor Solar Lamp Post is made of durable, rust-resistant, powder-coated cast aluminum. Unlike paint, which can chip in only a couple of years, powder-coated finishes are durable and last for years.
With quality housing and real beveled glass panes, the internal components of the light are protected from the elements for a long life span with low maintenance.
Your only responsibilities: occasionally clearing the solar panels of any debris (such as dust or pollen) that would impair their ability to absorb solar energy.
