Cost of One Street Light*
Made Abroad: $2,999.00
Made in USA: $4,250.00

This is an average cost for reference. The actual cost can be higher or lower depending on conditions at the installation site and the quantity orders.

Significant cost savings are achieved when several lights are purchased due to economy of engineering. These are custom lights and designing the lights to your specific installation site are factored into pricing.

Shipping is by freight and those charges are not included due to the many variables that enter into freight estimates.

Solar lighting for roads, bikepaths, recreational facilities, marinas and parking areas are all economic choices with the Brighta Solar Light Series has various options and each light is tailored to the geographic area of the installation as well as the unique requirement of each customer.

Made in USA Models Available

Each light is configured to provide system autonomy (bright lighting after cloudy days) of between 3 to 7 days.

Bright Solar Street Lights fit a variety of purposes, ranging from narrow walkways or bike paths as well as two-lane roadways and parking lots. Brighta Street lights are made overseas, as well as in the USA.

While the USA-made lights do cost more, reflecting the cost of US labor and other manufacturing considerations, American-made lights are fully TAA-compliant, making them eligible for both for state and federal funding sources such as GSA or FHWA monies, as well as various renewable energy incentive programs.

All customers interested in the Brighta series should contact SolarFlairLighting.com by email or call (866) 686-6903.

We will work with you to gather information about your location and illumination requirements. Based on this information, we will work with the manufacturer's engineers to tailor a solution that meets your needs, or recommend another street light, if necessary.

Brighta Solar Street Lights are available with your choice of 13 or 20 foot poles as standard options. If you require a retrofit solution to retrofit existing poles, these is an available option.

Each light uses an advanced LED street light that provides brilliant illumination and exceptional color clarity that is ideal for roadways and drivers.

Batteries:
Leak proof deep cycle lead-acid battery are used, either as GEL batteries wired in series or parallel and placed in a battery pack. Waterproof battery boxes (for underground placement) or a metallic battery box (for pole-mounted batteries) are standard features. The operating voltage is 12V, with a capacity of 120Ah @ 20 hr-rate to 17.75 V per cell at 1.75V at temperatures of 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The expected life span of the batteries is between 5 and 7 years.

Solar Panels:
Brighta Street lights use either mono or polycrystalline silicon solar panels with conversion efficiencies that can be as high as 15 percent with nominal power of 150 watts. The panels are mounted in an aluminum frame with glass cover that provides excellent protection against the weather. The expected lifetime of the solar panels is 20 to 25 years.

Controller:
With an IP65 Degree of Protection, these are excellent for areas with high humidity. The controller allows the lamp to run on lower power (dimming) and detects when the batteries are running low on energy to extend the duration of light each night, particularly after cloudy day(s).

Volt and Watt Strength:
The Brighta Series uses solar lights at various wattages based on site conditions and illumination requirements. The luminaire (light fixture) has an input voltage of 12V and provides 2880 lumens with a color temperature of 4300 to 6200K.

Note: costs noted in this product description are baseline estimates.
Your price will very likely vary (higher or lower) depending on how may are purchased and the installation sites requirements as well as temperature and average sunshine conditions. Customer should call us to discuss your requirements, as each light is engineered to the specific conditions of the installation site, including:

  • Longitude, which impacts sunshine available to the solar panel;
  • Average sunny days per year, used to recommend the battery, solar panel and controller configurations to provide bright and reliable lighting;
  • Temperature and humidity, another factor in solar street light configurations.

Product Features:

  • Reliable high brightness is provided through individual CREE LED fixtures that provide up to 110 lumens per watt. These lamps are two to three times brighter than a High Pressure Sodium (HSP), 6 to 10 times brighter than incandescent lamps, and which last far longer that either alternative
  • Lights operate exceptionally during winter months (when there is less sun in general) and also during periods of significant rain and/or snow
  • Lenses and lighting fixtures are recommended for specific applications based on information supplied by customer
  • Gel battery (5 to 7 year expected life)means superior performance, even in areas with wide ranges of temperatures
  • Multiple lighting modes are available based on geographic location and customer requirements
  • Multiple options are available for color, lamp arms and battery position on the lamp post or below ground)
  • Fast and easy installation with minimal disturbance of the roadway or the installation site: far less than the installation of new electric street lights
  • Low maintenance and excellent product warranties
