The Large Cosmic Fire Pit is 42-inches in diameter with a 10-inch deep fire bowl. Made of durable steel, it features a rustic, rust-like finish.
The cosmic shapes built into the sides of the fire bowl are covered with steel mesh and serve two purposes.
First, they add visual interest to the fire pit, particularly when a fire is burning.
The stars and moons also serve a practical purpose: the openings mean air flows through the fire bowl. This means fires are easier to start and generally burn more evenly with less tending than some fire bowls.
No need to buy accessories since the key ones needed for most fire pits are included: steel spark/ember screen and a poker to tend the fire or adjust burning logs. A steel wood grate/log holder is built into the pit's design.
A ring on the outside of the bowl helps remind people not to get too close. The screen has a handle that makes adding logs and tending the fire both easier and safer.
Five-inch legs mean the fire doesn't set directly on surfaces, but low enough so the fire pit is balanced and steady.
Note: Fire pits should never be used on or near wooden decks and should not be used near flammable objects including wood, stone, masonry, composite or vinyl siding. All fire pits should be used under appropriate supervision by a responsible adult.
