Our Gooseneck Solar Barn or Shed Light is a functional and good looking way to add lighting to barns, sheds, green houses, garages and even sheltered porches. It can also be used outdoors in semi-sheltered areas.
Attractive and functional, this fixtrue can be used inside sheds, barns or other outbuildings, as well as outdoors. If used outdoors, the fixture should be mounted in an area that is partially sheltered (such as under an eave, porch or gazebo).
With a traditional goose neck wall mount design, the beaded glass dome looks hand blown. The low-maintenance cast aluminum fixture has a durable, rust-resistant matte brown finish.
Here's how it works: you mount the Barn Solar Light where you need it and mount the solar panel where it will get the most sun. An 8-foot cord between the lighting fixture and solar panel means you have lots of flexibility to position the light.
The light automatically turn on at dawn and off at dusk, or when the solar energy in the rechargeable battery is spent. It shines at 120 lumens (about the same as 35-40 watt incandescent bulb) and on a full solar charge (about 6 hours, depending on season) provides up to 10 hours of reliable light. (Season, weather and how much sun directly hits the panel are a key determination of the actual runtime of any solar light.)
The Solar Barn Light works provides 120 lumens of illumination (about the same as 35 to 40 watt incandescent bulb). The fixed light is best used when the fixture is mounted near the doorway.
This is a well-made and attractive light that offers you lots of options particularly when the visual appeal of the fixture is important to you.
