One key advantage of Sky Lites an infrared motion sensor used in connection with an advanced microprocessor. The result: a light that operates continuously but becomes 200% brighter when it senses people nearby. Sky Lites IR work in two modes:

• Dim: when people are not around the lights
• Full Strength (200% brighter): When motion is detected nearby. the lights become significantly brighter. Once motion stops, the lights return to dim mode.
  
  This saves solar energy in the lithium ion batteries, extending run-time while helping prevent "light pollution" and disturbances to nearby homes and businesses.
