The new SMD LED Solar Flood Light with Remote Control and Timer uses cutting edge solar lighting technology for one of the strongest, most reliable and flexible commercial-grade solar flood lights we carry.
It casts illumination over an area 30-feet wide by 50-feet deep with light output of 1091 lumens (6~7lm/pc), about the equivalent of 225 watts of incandescent light. This light has an average operating run time of 10 to 12 hours on a fully charged battery (about 5 to 6 hours of direct sun each day) though performance with depend on latitudes, climate, average daily sun and temperature.*)
High Efficiency SMD LEDs
The solar flood light uses 156 LEDs with the latest in high-efficiency SMD (surface mounted diode, also called SMT) technology. The light is powered by a strong Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) lithium rechargeable battery that stores energy from the solar panel.
SMD LEDs are 17% brighter than LEDs used in many solar lights, meaning far less energy is consumed which in turn extends the lifespan the battery for lower long-term maintenance costs. Typically, batteries for solar lights last anywhere from 18 months to three years depending on quality of battery, type of fixture, and sunlight/temperature conditions at the installation site.
The flood light can be configured to turn automatically turn on at dusk and has a built-in ON/OFF master switch. Control On/Off and adjustable brightness through included RF Remote Control. The remote can be used up to sixty (60) away from the fixture, including from indoors.
Radio Frequency technology allows the remote to work from indoors.
Stay warm inside with the FR Remote Control, which works through walls; a direct “line of sight” between the remote and the flood light is not necessary. (Some remotes use infrared technology which requires the remote to be directly pointed at a light with no obstructions between a remote control and a the fixture.)

This lights provides a high level of brightness appropriate for: recreational areas, signs (up light or direct) lots, driveways, ground effect lighting, and large areas (30 to 50 feet is covered with this light). It is commercial grade and use in residential areas may not be appropriate for small yards placement where it shine into other homes.
