Victorian Solar Lamp Post with Motion Sensor
The Victorian Solar Lamp Post with Motion Sensor (GS-94S-PIR) is a 7.75-foot solar lamp post with an quality lighting fixture that detects nearby motion and becomes twice as bright!Â
At first glance, the new Victorian Lamps look just like their predecessors: a classic gas light design with beveled glass panes, black powder-coated cast aluminum construction, and patented cone design.
As with all Victorian Solar Lamps, the solar panel is located at the top of the lamp, but the Victorian with Motion Sensor allows the lamp to become twice as bright when it senses motion nearby.
As people approach the lamp, it automatically switches from Low Mode (100 lumens) to High Mode (200 lumens).
One key difference: a closer look shows a PIR (Passive Infrared) Motion Detector that makes the light far brighter when motion is detected.
The new Victorian GS-94PIR series offers new attractive and convenient features:13 LEDS rather than 7 for brighter light (200 lumens on "Bright Mode")Automatically turns on at Low Mode at dusk and switches to "Bright Mode" when motion is detected; after 45 seconds without motion, lamp switches back to Low Mode (half power or 100 lumens), conserving battery power
The On/Off Switch, located on the lamps' exterior, also lets you adjust the motion sensor to turn the light on under when it senses movement from one of the three settings:
- Short Distance: Brighter when motion sensed within 8 to 12 feet of the lamp
- Medium Distance: Brighter when motion sensed 12 to 15 feet of the lamp
- Long Distance: Brighter Light when motion sensed 15 to 25 feet from lamp
